With 25 years of higher education experience, Dr. Richard Winslow has spent his career working with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at two of the nation's top colleges and universities. In addition, Richard has an extensive background in consulting with non- and for-profit organizations.  Dr. Winslow's innovative leadership in higher education has been noted in outlets such as Forbes Magazine, Money Magazine, TIME Magazine, and US News and World Report.

Richard's professional background includes 7 years at Kansas City University as Vice Provost for Student and Enrollment Services, where he increased University enrollment 57%, lowered attrition 13%, and was noted as providing "exemplary" student services by the University's accrediting body.  

 

Dr. Winslow also spent 17 years at William Jewell College, where he was Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs with responsibility for the College's Offices of Admission, Financial Aid & Scholarship Services, and Student Life. 

 

Prior to joining Kansas City University, Richard worked as an Enrollment Management Consultant for Royall & Company (Richmond, VA), a firm specializing in assisting colleges and universities in increasing and shaping their enrollment, where he consulted with over 25 partner colleges/universities.

 

Richard received both his Master's and his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
